There are plenty of places to visit, things to see, activities to enjoy and places to relax in the area around Kippford, whatever the weather!

Active pursuits: Walking, Golfing,  Cycling (including 7stanes Mountain bike trails), Watersports, Fishing, Horse Riding and even extreme sports.

Wildlife: The coastline and forests around this area are teeming with a huge variety of animal, bird, sea and plant life for you to discover.

History: There are castles and abbeys to explore, stone circles and cairns to wonder over. Dumfries & Galloway is steeped in hundreds of years of intriguing (and often bloody!) history. Our National Bard Robert Burns rests in nearby Dumfries. There are many venues that you can visit that will enlighten you on his life and work.

Family: In addition to beachcombing and exploring the forests, the area has parks, playingfields, activity centres (both indoors and outdoors) to ensure the whole family will be exhausted by the end of the day!
